“Lost Sheep”

This piece is titled "Lost Sheep", drawn from the heart of Luke 15:4 “Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?”
In the stillness of the misty hills, a Shepherd pauses, eyes fixed on a single sheep. Though the flock has already moved ahead, His gaze does not shift. There is no rush. No frustration. Only presence.
My motive behind this piece is to remind us of how personal God’s love truly is. Not abstract. Not distant. But deeply attentive, individual. There are times in life when we feel forgotten or unworthy of that kind of pursuit. But this scene challenges that lie. It reflects a Savior who sees you, who comes close, and who stays.
Every brushstroke of this piece was made with that simple but profound message in mind:
You are worth the journey.
Let it hang where you need to be reminded, on the days you feel far away, that He is already on His way to find you.
